The knife has a tortoiseshell handle. There is a silver fruit knife blade which is stamped with the name as well as a quill blade stamped with the cutlers name “LAKE”. The handle is inset with birds eye rivets.

The piece dates to around c1770

Length open is 6.5 inches.

This knife is illustrated on page 66 in Pocket Fruit Knifes by Simon Moore.

Condition:  Good.  The blades snap in and out of the handle. There are two hairline splits to the shell handle on the front and on the reverse side.
